August 14, 2004 -- AriaVoice Communications Ships Inexpensive Feature-Rich VoIP Phone

AriaVoice Communications announced availability of its new entry-level VoIP Handset. The new IP Phone will be the first in a series of VoIP offerings that the company will release over a three month period.

The Atlas is a stand-alone IP telephone set with built in features that most telephone users have come to expect in a traditional telephone. An attractive design, 2 line alphanumeric display and integrated hands-free speaker round out the new offering.

The v301 model, seen at ariavoice.com is more similar to regular telephones in cost, functionality and features and is expected to help bridge the gap between traditional telephone users and VoIP users. Support for major industry protocols such as SIP and H.323 allow the phone to be used with upcoming ariaVoice PBX systems as well as other systems and service providers.
